Quarterly contributions

Are quarterlies required for 2008? The section in the 430 is 'Reserved' since it refers to the prior plan year shortfall base (which of course in 2007 could not possibly exist). I know this was covered before but can not put my hands on the cite.

Well, sort of it helped. The last post was in 3/2008 which was waiting for IRS to potentially issue something. What was finally issue has a section which is labeled 'Reserved' for guidance on the initial plan year. I guess we are stuck with making our best guess using prior year data and going from there.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why wouldn't they be? Code Section 430(j) seems pretty clear.
