Fredman Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Does anyone know of a comparable statement from another provider? tx bill Sungard use to have an Output Solutions division that had a decent looking statement for Relius users. There was also a company in the Minneapolis area (SCI or something like that...I tried Googling, but couldn't find it) that had something simlar to Newkirk. It has been several years since I've paid attention to this, so I'm not sure either of these even exist anymore. You could also write your own.
Guest sjphillips Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Are you looking for a comparable statement or the service? We've been successful in creating our own statement and creating pdf files. These are then outsourced for printing and mailing.

These are then outsourced for printing and mailing. We do the same. Although I'm sure ours are much lower quality than Ms. Phillips'. William C. Gadgetfreak Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Who do you use to outsource the printing and mailing? How do you make sure that every statement has exactly the same number of pages? If someone has more holdings/activity, doesn't that mess up the printing? ERPA, QPA, QKA
Demosthenes Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 As an option, If you work with the vendor, they'll help you set up reference marks in the margins that will tell the folder/stuffers how many pages for this participatnt's statement. Requires a bit more versatile reporting tool than a simple "convert to pdf" application. Most vendors will point you to a reporting package that is compatible with thier print/mail faciliaty. word of caution, to make it economical, statement volumes need to be fairly high.
Guest sjphillips Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Because we generated the statements in-house, we have the ability to verify the page count and other items before we send it. We use a local vendor. I'd be happy to talk about our process if you are interested. Contact me at sonia.phillips@aghlc.com.
