waid10 Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 We are about to move all of our employees into a new entity. We need to change the plan sponsor of our 401(k) plan to this new entity. How do we do that? Do we just amend the plan? Do we need to do anything else?

The new plan sponsor has a different EIN. Will this pose any problems? Do I need to do anything sooner regarding the 5500, i.e. notify any governmental agency?
