Are there any known issues using Relius Web client to submit 5500s to clients and DOL?

Anyone having software problems?

We haven't started processing any 5500's yet. I've told my clients that they shouldn't expect to hear from us until the end of May.

Must be lots of them. Their response time is over 48 hours. :=)

We are unable to determine how client prints a copy of the Forms for their records. Not sure if its an issue on our side of it's software limitation.

We received confirmation from Relius that the print

function in Webclient is not working but should become available on 4/26. Until such time, a

client will not be able to print a 5500, sign, date and keep a copy for

their files. Until then, the work around is for us to create a .pdf file and email separately.

We had trouble submitting an amended filing via EFAST2 through web client. We are waiting for Relius to contact us regarding the submission. The site shows it was "submitted" but EFAST2 confirmed they did not receive. Anyone else have this situation?

We are also experiencing the printing issue.

Thanks!

We cannot print also, hoping this will be available soon.

Updated SAR is still not available. Does anyone know of the release date?

This is an IRS issue but Form 8955 SSA not yet released. Talked to IRS last week and they said would be available in the spring, pretty sure its going to be late spring! What process does everyone have for their clients to file this? We are thinking of putting it out on webclient as an "other" attachment and instructing our clients to print, sign, and paper file.

Per Corbel, SAR is scheduled to be released 4/28. Printing in Web Client was schedules for 4/26. Who knows when these will actually be released.

The most recent information I got is that the printing patch was delayed to 5/2.

We are having problems with web-client at this point. Perhaps because there have been revisions to the forms which then feed into web-client, I'm not sure. But we are doing a lot of trouble-shooting.

Our 1st issue begain with the Proxy Server. Because I work for a large corporation there were difficulties with our server linking to the web-client server to transmit data. We kept erroring out when attempting to "Publish" a plan. After a week of Relius IT looking into it and our company's IT looking into it, it was determined there was trouble with the Proxy server. My company had to put in some new settings and we can upload forms to Web-Client now.

I'm uploading test forms now. We've got our header, footer, our e-mails, etc about 75% set up, but when I test web-client, the forms are indicating validation errors. Validation errors that didn't show in Relius Forms are showing in Web-Client. On every filing we are getting two schematic validation errors. And for the Large Form 5500 filings I'm getting validation errors on the Sch A, Sch H, and 5500 itself, indicating that fields are not completed but when I look at the forms I see that they are completed. I've got a call into Relius IT. Because they are very busy, it takes about 24 hours to get a call back. Our concern is that when the Plan Administrator clicks to sign the filing, the validation is run and all errors appear to the client. If our clients see validation errors, even if they won't cause the filing to reject, we will get many telephone calls. We would prefer that the client not see the validation errors. Is there any way around it?

Ran into validation errors but installed the SP2 and this cleaned up the errors for Sched I filing plans. We do have the Sched H validation issues and I have a incident submitted to Relius. Getting error that because line 4i is selected there must be an attachment. This is included with the audited financial reports that the accountants prepare and we have always relied on that as the attachment. Also getting the error about Sched A and line 3 on the accountant opinion. We are also very concerned on the validation errors as we will get questions from clients. Not thrilled about the fact that the plan information sheet publishes as part of the form, as this is more an internal worksheet.

Do you know how long it takes Relius to get back to you with your issues? I've been getting about a 24 hour turn-around time. They must be getting a lot of calls on these validation errors. I've also been running into problems with the Relius Forms for Large Plans. Validation errors on situations that we haven't had in the past. For instance, we always check that we have Insurance contracts in Line 9(a)(1) & 9(a)(2) of the Form 5500, but now we get a validation error that Line 1c(10)(a) of Line 1c(10)(b) of the Schedule H must contain an amount. This is a brand new validation error that is throwing our data entry people off. There has been a lot of trouble-shooting and I anticipate much more. Our goal is to upload a plan to Web-Client, have the client view the forms, print the forms and attachments (as one large batch print), view and print the SAR attachment, view the global attachment we're including for all plans on steps to obtain their signing credentials (if they haven't already gotten them), then sign the form and transmit (at least for the 5500-SF) forms. The Large plans will be more complicated. We definitely don't want the client to see the validation errors. I'll address this issue when they call back. Still waiting.

We are not getting any response from them for days, and some inquiries have been up to two weeks.

Two issues that we are seeing include:

1. Original User ID and Password provided to the client in e-mail are not successfully logging them in. It seems that if they log in the day they receive the e-mail, it's okay, but if they wait, they have to re-set the password to get in.

2. Once I've walked the client through the signature process, it shows as "Submitted." Half of the time, I get an email back saying that it was filed and received successfully. The other half, I'm getting an email saying that the process was stopped. When I view the error message, it says, "The Plan Sponsor must be present unless the Administrator signature is present." I sent an e-mail to Relius about this, but have gotten no response yet. It makes no sense to me, because in 99% of our cases, the person signing as Plan Sponsor is the same as Plan Administrator. And some of them have gone through with no error, so this seems completely arbitrary.

We have SP2 installed and are getting validation errors. The interesting thing is that if we input information manually into the RGF program and then publish we do not get the validation errors but on a PlanBook where the data is imported from XML file, 2500 plus of our clients, then we get validation errors, e.g. Plan Number is invalid.....

not a "major" issue but we keep losing our "Site Branding" and it reverts back to RELIUS banner.

We have not yet purchased Web Client, but it makes me nervous that they told me the call back time was 1 1/2 - 2 weeks for technical support!!!

I am wondering does anyone know if I can prepare the Forms using Relius Gov't Forms software and then use Web Client to sign and transmit to DOL? Or does not using Web Client to prepare push you into IFILE?

I did not get much help with the salesman at Relius on this topic. <_<

not only sit branding -- the last two we published the client did not get the email and password (initial email). checked on it in client web and it has disappeared. If we change any of the the forms -- site branding, initial email, login, etc. -- when we apply changes some other page wipes out. really strange. Anyone know how to RESEND the initial email if your client doesn't get it? It is the one with the password on it. When the initial email disappeared it went to bland instead of the Relius default so the client got nothing.

Hi T-Bick: The DOL has indicated that only one indiviual is required to sign the 5500 filing by signing once on the “Plan Administrator” line. The DOL indicated that is is important to note that the “Plan Administrator” line must be signed or the filing is subject to rejection by EFAST2. If only one signature is used, the electronic system will “assume” that the person signing as plan administrator is also signing as employer/plan sponsor. So, make sure to tell your clients that if only one person signs, it should be on the Plan Administrator line.

Hi Brenda Schachle: What I did was copy and paste the e-mail from the "Client Invitation" into the "Client Invitation Re-publish" e-mail. (It's probably blank for you at this point.) Then in the Planbooks, I clicked the down-arrow on "Action to perform on selected plans" and chose "Re-send Client Invitation." Then check the check box beside the plan you want to re-send the invitation and click "Go." The invitation will be re-sent. I have also found the same problem when I click on "Reset" when site branding. I have found that to be a scary button. I think when you click on this button, the entire web-site reverts to its original format at the very beginning. Not sure though. I've been trying to stay away from that one lately.

Hi Hunter 001: I like the idea about attaching the 8955 SSA form the filing for the client to print, sign, and send. My only concern is the SSNO's traveling through the internet. Would they be safe and secure? If yes, I'm game for handling our SSA's that way also.

Hi Esaade: All of our Form 5500's are uploaded to Relius Forms via XML files similar to yours. Do you think we're running into the same problems with our validation errors? When I file through I-File at the DOL I get absolutely no validation errors. Unfortunately, we would have to manually input 3,000 plans individually via I-File. Won't work for us. Too many plans. Relius is still checking into our validation errors that are not valid.

Hi A. Doodokyan. You can use one company's forms and a different company to e-file them. They don't have to be provided by the same company. I've heard good things about Fort Williams.

Marge:

I believe its actually just FT Williams, not Fort Williams, at least they never refer to themselves as 'Fort', but only as F T.

(I'll admit I thought it was Fort as well)

first year we have used them, haven't had any problems at this point in time

Company name is Fort William LLC but almost all communication is done as ftwilliam.com. (No "s.")

Since it's come up, my experience with them has been excellent.

Hi Marge,

we have inconsistencies in the validation errors both with XML and non-XML data filled Forms that I no longer can say that is issue. However, RELIUS has been investigating.
