Guest emeralo Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 With respect to individuals under age 26 who are described in section 152(f)(1) of the Code, can a plan require that the adult children be U.S. citizens or live in the U.S.?

While I have not found anything specific about citizenship, I would suspect that if the dependent in question meets the requirements of "eligibility", then coverage would probably need to be made available.
