david rigby Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Is the plan terminated? Paying out benefits as they become due is not (as far as I know) a termination. For that matter, is the plan (still) covered by the PBGC? I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
