You should anticipate a response no later than when Cinco de Mayo falls on May 4.

No renewal yet either.

Note the IRS WEB site authorizes us to use the 11 prefix, as long as the application was received by April 1, 2011:

talked to JB a week ago - said they're still processing a lot of apps - suggested calling back in couple of weeks - as someone else said if you've satisfied the criteria then you can sign using 11 prefix - but I agree ,as with you I'd like to have the paper - hang in there !!!

"they're still processing a lot of apps"

That's a good one. What are there all of about 100 EAs left in the US.

Being facetious but you follow my drift ;)

I just got mine today, dated May 24. The funny part is that it had no stamp and was marked return for postage, but was delivered anyway.

Didn't get mine yet. Got this from JB on June 22nd:

We have sent out approximately 2,700 renewal of enrollment notices. We hope to be able to mail out the remaining notices shortly. If you filed an application for renewal of enrollment and paid the $250 fee by April 1, 2011, you may presume that you have been renewed and you are authorized to use the "11" prefix. Thank you,
