Andy the Actuary Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 When we first submit a 5500 in behalf of a client, we follow the process of asking them to request us to file electronically, and then countersign their request and return it to them. When we amend the form, do we need to go through the request process again with the amendment or does the initial request cover the amendment? Who's electronically signing the 5500 with the credentials and pin? You or the client? If you, then I think you need a signature for each filing. If the client, then I don't think you need anything additional. William C. Presson, ERPA, QPA, QKA bill.presson@gmail.com C 205.994.4070
