My cousin is diabetic and his wife just mentioned to look into life insurance for ds because it is insanely expensive for my cousin now. And he's only 32! Thought it might be a good idea but I have no idea where to start?

It may be best if you wait for a while (up to a year) post the surgery operation and keep records that show a clean bill of health to qualify for the best rates. This is not only because of obesity as a condition but also because of post-op complications. The chances of you finding a carrier that will insure high risk conditions may be greater on a large aggregator website where you can find term life insurance quotes. When you've kept up a steady health record, shop for a new policy. You may be able to reduce the premiums paid in at least by some percentage (compared to paying double), and also increase the term period of coverage.
