Guest JohnB10 Posted November 19, 1998 Posted November 19, 1998 Can anybody recommend a good tool/utility that calculates various optional forms of benefits. I'm looking for software that will calculate various J&S, L + X certain, Lump Sums, etc. equivalents of a projected monthly benefit. The current tool we use is will be obsolete on 1/1/2000.
Gary Posted December 1, 1998 Posted December 1, 1998 The only thing that comes to mind is to make your own spreadsheet that incorporates many different mortality tables. Let me know what you come up with. I also would like to know if you have a tool for calculating Social Security Benefits. Thanks
Guest KOlsen Posted June 21, 1999 Posted June 21, 1999 Provided you have all the necessary information, Social Security benefits can be computed using the ANYPIA program developed by the Social Security Administration's Office of the Actuary. It is available for public use (free) at http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/ANYPIA/compute.html. ------------------ Kelly Olsen Policy Analyst Social Security Administration
Guest Brian4 Posted June 28, 1999 Posted June 28, 1999 Mortality tables and a spreadsheet program are available at the Society of Actuaries website, www.soa.org. Look under Resources, then Table Manager.
