My 2 cents Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 IRC Section 436 does not apply to governmental plans. The funding rules of PPA do not apply to governmental plans. To the best of my understanding, governmental plans should not adopt good faith interim amendments with respect to either PPA or IRC 436. Always check with your actuary first!
