CharlesLeggette Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I've dwelled in big Plan world...now filing a 7 life CB plan 5500...It doesn't appear that a schedule R is required, but am unsure about Schedule SB attachments for actuarial assumptions and summary of Plan Provisions....anyone confirm Yes or No????
My 2 cents Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Are you filing a 5500-SF or a 5500? If the former, I don't think you need anything beyond the SF and the Schedule SBA. If the latter, then besides the SB you need a Schedule I and, I think a Schedule R, maybe more Always check with your actuary first!
Andy the Actuary Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 If I submit an SB on EFAST, I include the required exhibits, irrespective of whether or not I'm filing a 5500 or 5500-SF. If you submit without these attachments, EFAST will note as errors. When I talked about having to file a Schedule SB, in my mind (if nowhere else) it was clear that all relevant attachments (required or otherwise) would be included! Always check with your actuary first!
