ESOPs for Plan Administrators, 1st edition

Has anyone read/used this book? Is it worth buying - I guess what I mean by that is does it address sort of real life situations, with good examples, or is it just statutes,regulations, and theory?

I did not realize ASPA was providing ESOP education and supporting this publication (hence, the first edition I guess). While the firm I work for is a member of ASPA and uses ASPA publications in our traditional TPA environment, for our ESOP department we tend to rely on materials published by the NCEO and the ESOP Association.

Did you get the book? Is it worth buying? I just saw that there is now a 2nd edition and its used for the ASPPA ESOP A exam

We did buy it - it just arrived yesterday, and I haven't even looked at it. Probably won't get to it for a while. But it isn't really all that expensive, and I expect it will likely be well worth it, particularly if, like me, you aren't an ESOP expert.
