ratherbereading Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Can a 401k plan that has insurance still use the 5500-SF form? 4 out of 3 people struggle with math
ETA Consulting LLC Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Let's rephrase the question. You would like to know whether or not life insurance policies are considered 'eligible assets' for Form 5500 SF purposes. I do not see why they wouldn't be. I believe that they have readily determinable fair market value; and we know they are issued by an insurance company. Good Luck! ratherbereading and Spencer 2 CPC, QPA, QKA, TGPC, ERPA
ratherbereading Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 Thank you ETA. That's what I thought, but wanted another opinion. 4 out of 3 people struggle with math
