TPApril Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 in 2010, company filed a 5500 for a fully insured plan with 1 employee. in as much as there were other errors in the 5500 as it was, it simply did not need to be filed. it was also the only year with that insurance company. is there a way to delete it (take it back)? otherwise best approach to amend (correct and add code 4R) and then final?
Flyboyjohn Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Since the DOL hasn't asked for 2011-2014 5500s and IRS hasn't asked for any non-filing penalties I'd let sleeping dogs lie. Bill Presson 1
Bill Presson Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I agree with Flyboy. Just wait for the letter that will never arrive. William C. Presson, ERPA, QPA, QKA bill.presson@gmail.com C 205.994.4070
