I would like to know what certifications are more valuable to an employee or employer, CEBS, CBP, CCP, PHR, SPHR, other?

The short answer is- it depends. What are the employees long term career goals? What skill does the employer value? Which certification program best the particular needs of the employer/employee? I am not personaly familar with HR type certifications, since we are a pension administration/ actuarial consulting firm.I would suggest that you talk to people that you know are succesful in your particular field and listen to their recommendations.
