Do Solo DB plans have to issue an SAR?

I think that plans subject to Title IV are not required to provide SARs (but they do have to provide Annual Funding Notices).

A typical Solo DB plan will not be subject to Title 1, so no SAR is typically required. I have a couple of atypical 1-person plans which cover non-owners.  Those are subject to SAR (if not Title IV) or AFN (if Title IV).

Thanks for your help!  I would assume this applies to solo(k)'s as well:  no SAR for them.

I would not assume. Find out if Title 1 or not.
