mming Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 A 401k plan has over 70% in each of its rate groups for its nonelective contributons when the ratio percentage test is performed - does that allow the plan to avoid the ABT when deferrals have been made? Having to consider the deferrals in the ABT would sink testing.

CuseFan Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 I think that's Mike's Friday night version of "yes" - you avoid ABT. Lou S. 1 Kenneth M. Prell, CEBS, ERPA Vice President, BPAS Actuarial & Pension Services kprell@bpas.com
