Does anyone have any creative ideas for communicating the benefits of Flexible Spending Accounts (Section 125) to employees? I am looking for ideas other than payroll stuffers, newsletters, pamphlets, etc. I am looking for ways to attract and interest the employees....any ideas?

You could offer employee access to 125 information via the web!! Please feel free to log on to our demo site at http://cybercafeteria.cybertpa.com use all 1's for your PIN and Password.

We offer a varity of on-line benefit management tools. Cyberdata provides web access for 410k 403b (www.cybertpa.com)and online enrollment as well.

For your participants, CyberTPA provides a clear and simple web interface allowing them to remotely access and manage their accounts. For you, CyberTPA is equally simple. There is no need for new software, hardware or technical staff and setup and installation time is minimal. CyberTPA is a flexible application that can be adapted to work with your current accounting software.

Sincerely,

We have a video presentation which we offer to our employer-clients. I also (since most of my clients are small companies, and all under 1000 ees) do personal group meetings each year. We use a website and have staff here ready to answer questions during open enrollment.

If you are interested in out-sourcing, a number of TPAs provide these services, some of which are listed in the yellow pages on BenefitsLink

It takes extra time, but when I want to get the employees' attention I put together a Power-Point Presentation. I hold a meeting and go through the presentation step by step encouraging questions at each page. Use funny or informative clip-art to generate emotion - If you make them laugh or seriously think of something they will ask questions and be more apt to consider what is offered. Also, print out a copy of the presentation for them to take home to discuss it with their families. If you have a large company do it in stages by department. Groups of 10 to 20 are more comfortable interacting than when there are a couple of hundred or so. Good Luck!
