Guest D HUNT Posted March 15, 2001 Posted March 15, 2001 WHEN CONVERTING TO A ROTH FROM A ROLLOVER IRA ,DO I NEED TO CONVERT THE TOTAL ACCOUNT OR CAN I JUST CONVERT A PORTION OF THE ACCOUNT?
Michael Devault Posted March 15, 2001 Posted March 15, 2001 You may convert all or a portion of your traditional IRA to a Roth IRA, just as long as your modified Adjusted Gross Income is $100,000 and, if married, you do not file separate returns.
