jkharvey Posted March 22, 2001 Posted March 22, 2001 Non-Standardized MPPP terminates effective 2/15. None of the employees have actually terminated. Is a contribution required for the period 1/1 through date of termination?
Alf Posted March 22, 2001 Posted March 22, 2001 I don't think that an allocation would be required under law, so it depends on the terms of the plan. If the plan had a last day of year or one year of service requirement for participants to receive an allocation, the employees wouldn't be entitled to a contribution.
