metsfan026 Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I have a client who is terminating their Cash Balance Plan and wants to make their 2022 contributions based on the short plan year, so they can get the money paid out before the end of the year. Have the '22 segment rates been released as of yet? If not, is it OK to use the '21 rates? Thanks!
Lou S. Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 http://www.cyberisa.com/books_erisa_tables.html For 2022 under ARP funding rules if you are using the 95% stabilization rates: 4.75/5.18/5.92 See link for full discussion and credit to Sal Tripodi Or the IRS site if you prefer https://www.irs.gov/retirement-plans/pension-plan-funding-segment-rates
