mlp0816 Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 I have a prospect that is a part of a PEP. He wants to exit out of it and operate his own 401(k). I have never done this but from what I'm reading it's not a simple task. Anyone have insight as to if it can be done and if so, how? Thanks
Luke Bailey Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Obviously, you communicate with the PEP. The mechanics are, your prospect's portion of the PEP will be spun off into a single employer plan. It's definitely doable. Bri 1 Luke Bailey Senior Counsel Clark Hill PLC 214-651-4572 (O) | LBailey@clarkhill.com 2600 Dallas Parkway Suite 600 Frisco, TX 75034
