truphao Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 S corporation, two owners - father and son, both are 50% shareholders, no other employees. Is 5500-EZ or 5500-SF required? In prior years EZ was filed but I do not think it is correct and SF is required? Anything else that I might be missing?
RatherBeGolfing Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 It's an EZ. 2% S-Corp shareholders are treated as partners for filing purposes. It was part of PPA but didn't make it into the 5500 instructions until the 2021 5500. Luke Bailey 1
