TPApril Posted February 26 Posted February 26 ok, so, ummmm, first time such a request has come in for an MP plan...participant is curious about an annuity....any recommendation on what company to contact?
R Griffith Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I would look for a company that can get you multiple quotes - so, you only work with one but you have several options for the Plan Sponsor to choose from. Sorry, I don't remember any names, but I have used some different companies that would do that several years ago.
david rigby Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Perhaps engage a licensed insurance broker/agent who will solicit multiple bids? Remember, there can be a fiduciary duty here. I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
