Pammie57 Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 If a participant in a 401k Plan has both a pre-tax deferral account and a ROTH - when they take a cash distribution - are two 1099Rs required to report the pretax distribution & the Roth?
401_noob Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 yes, a separate Form 1099-R must be used to report the total annual distribution from a designated Roth account.
