California incorporation conversion

I have a pre approved plan, ABC Profit Sharing Plan , Employer ABC Corp. PYE 12/31/18

Effective 1/1/19  Articles of Incorporation with a Statement of Conversion changed the name to XYZ, Inc.

The EIN is the same.

I don't know what  should to do about the plan. What changes do I make? Does ABC end and xys adopt the plan?

This is a California company. PLEASE HELP

The Plan should be amended to have XYZ, Inc. be the plan sponsor.

If the vendor insists, and there will be no charge for the amendment, then sure, what the heck.  But if there is a charge I would resist that and throw it into the next substantive amendment.  This is silly stuff.
