Ed S. Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 I am researching Insurers that issue Bonds for Non qualifying assets. Colonial Surety and Surety One, I have used in the past, but both are relatively expensive. Any other out there that might be recommended?
mary.miller@buck.com Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Although I cannot recommend any particular surety company, the Treasury Department publish a list each July 1 of approved surety companies in which the plan sponsor may purchase a fidelity bond for the plan. Here is a link to the approved list of surety companies. https://fiscal.treasury.gov/surety-bonds/list-certified-companies.html
ConnieStorer Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 I am not sure of the cost but I have one client that uses Travelers to cover all the Non qualifying assets.
