"While focused largely on retirement plans, some of the changes also affect welfare plans, notably multiple employer welfare arrangements (MEWAs).... This package of changes to Form 5500 goes well beyond satisfying the agencies' obligations under the SECURE Act.... [T]he DOL is apparently planning another, broader set of improvements to the annual reporting requirements....
