Not sure how long ago you reviewed ASC. They launched web-access in January to their Valuation System. There is also a conversion process that can accommodate historical transactions or various accumulated data. ASC can handle pretty much any plan design including new comp, DB, DBDC Combo, ESOPs etc. as well as periodic valuations.

Came across this thread looking while searching for something different. ASC is most similar to Relius as there is a recordkeeping component and offers optional transactional processing. There is also "compliance only" type functionality for those who are doing daily val on a different platform like SRT, Omni or even Relius DV. You can install "on-prem" or you can subscribe to their hosting services.

from what've seen - most of the RK platforms offer flexibibility on old money/new money/combined totals and even by source. There can be a variety of reasons why a participant chooses certain options; some may be tied to various investments - like a guaranteed fund or competing money market funds....

ASC has an extensive module to handle MEPS in the compliance software. Also, the document system has a module as well to easily create participating employer docs.

Actuarial Systems Corporation (ASC) also has a web-based 5500 government forms system. The 2014 5500 series is available and we anticipate the programming for the late changes the IRS made to the Form 8955-SSA to be completed within the next few weeks if not sooner.
