Guest tonjer Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 Three siblings (brother, sister1 & sister2) each own 33.33% of corp A, brother also owns 100% of corp B. Because attribution does not apply to siblings, I read the brother-sister control group rules to say that A & B are not in the same control group (brother does not have effective control). Any thoughts?
Blinky the 3-eyed Fish Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 Agree. "What's in the big salad?" "Big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes like volleyballs."
imchipbrown Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 I'll defer to Derrin, but stock could be attributed to their mother or father if under 21 years old.
Belgarath Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 What about if there are stock options? (I hate control group/AFSG questions!) I know your question didn't ask this, but I got tripped up on this a long time ago. There are so many absurd possibilities that I've gotten completely gun-shy on these issues...
