Guest jhilliard Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 I am looking for any survey results for small business 401(k) plans. I have a client who at the end of 2002, sold roughly two thirds of his business. He went from a corporation to an LLC. Needless to say our plan pricing needs revisited. I am wondering if anyone has seen a survey of 401(k) plans that pertained to asset charge. I recall (but cannot locate it) a survey being done that compared asset charges based on plan size, and asset range. This plan is around 500K and 40 lives. Anyone have any idea where I can find this information?
ljr Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 Can't help you with the survey, but do suggest when you compare pricing you use the DOL pricing comparison worksheets available on their web site. It also explains the various charges of service providers from mutual funds to participant recordkeepers to corporate trustees. This is a plan people will be interested in bidding on. Best of luck!
david rigby Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 Might be some useful information here: http://www.dol.gov/ebsa/publications/401k_...k_employee.html I'm a retirement actuary.
