Guest jmarini Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 I'm curious how often 401(k) administrators are sending statements to their Plan participants these days, quarterly or annually? If it's annually, do the participants have access to their daily balance either by phone or online? We do quarterly statements and I was just wondering if, with online access and all that, the trend was going toward annual statements only...
Guest pensionadmin Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 Our firm provides quarterly paper statements. The participants have access to their accounts via the phone and internet.
E as in ERISA Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 My prior employer -- had been providing online access to dynamic statements for a number of years -- and paper statements once a year. My current employer doesn't provide the dynamic statements and provides quarterly paper statements.
Guest Tinman42 Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 We provide quarterly cash-basis statements to our participants. At year-end, the employer gets an annual accrued-basis statement with a group listing by participant, but no annual statements are provided automatically. Through our internet system, participants have access to their account information and can request statements for whatever period they'd like.
