average contribution amounts

With all of the recent (and pending) increases on contribution limits, I'm looking for information on how much people actually contribute to 401(k) and 403(b) plans. Does anyone know of reliable sources for this data?

Are you looking for the total contributions to plans nationwide or a breakdown of average contributions per salary range? Also, do you want a breakdown by industry? I believe my employer may have a source for that informaton.

Average elective deferral contributions by salary range would be great. Any differences by industry would be even better.
