Guest tpeterson1959 Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Would a 401k for a nonprofit private school make sense rather than a 403b plan? Most participants are not teachers, and most teachers seem to move in and out of teaching. Thoughts and comments are appreciated.
QDROphile Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 It depends on what you are trying to accomplish. 403(b) plans are ususally favored because of simplicity (which also affects cost), but you may want some more complex features and you may want more flexibility with investments -- but probably not when you balance it all out.
