Guest StanJacobson Posted September 28, 1998 Posted September 28, 1998 Is anyone aware of service providers who will determine the Maximum Exclusion Allowance (MEA) under a 403(B) program on an "as needed" basis? If so, please send eMail.
Guest CVCalhoun Posted September 29, 1998 Posted September 29, 1998 Several of the annuity and mutual fund companies claim to do so. However, you have to be very careful in this area. Many of the formulas used either are wrong, or call for the insertion of information (e.g., the employee's projected benefit under a state defined benefit retirement system) which many employees may not be capable of determining.
