Guest CRC02 Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 I have looked at the Puerto Rico plan threads on these boards, but have been unable to find the answers to the following questions. What are the requirements for qualification under the Puerto Rico tax code? Do you need to submit one qualification application, or do you need to submit periodically (as with the IRS)? Is there are form for a qualification application?
Harwood Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 Don't know the answers but here is where you can start: http://www.hacienda.gobierno.pr/contactanos.asp
Guest CRC02 Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 Thanks for the link--I've already been there. I am still interested to hear if anyone on this board has had practical experience with a submission.
Guest CRC02 Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 I found a great article in the summer 2003 Journal of Pension Planning & Compliance on these issues for anyone else who is researching Puerto Rico issues.
Harwood Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 The "Coverage and Nondiscrimination Answer Book" by Amy Cavanaugh and Tom Poje has Puerto Rican material
