Guest slt Posted March 27, 2000 Posted March 27, 2000 Can anyone help me out by pointing me to articles on the internet that show what amendments and requirements, from the 1986 act forward, 403(B) plans need to have made or be in compliance with? Thanks!
Carol V. Calhoun Posted April 18, 2000 Posted April 18, 2000 Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any. Among other things, the amendments would be different depending on whether the plan was a governmental or church plan, a salary-reduction-only plan of a tax-exempt employer which met the Department of Labor requirements to be treated as not subject to ERISA, or a plan subject to ERISA. ------------------ Employee benefits legal resource site Employee benefits legal resource site The opinions of my postings are my own and do not necessarily represent my law firm's position, strategies, or opinions.
