Guest maac3 Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I'd like to get some opinions on the pros and cons of reducing the involuntary cash out to $1,000. I've pulled the analysis that was posted by mintz.com and am anxious to get some other opinions. I have several clients that would like me to provide a listing of pros and cons. Thanks!
Ron Snyder Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Maybe you could begin the list of pros and cons and put it out there for others to comment on, rather than asking others to do your work.
Guest Forms R Us Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Why do some people find it necessary to be so rude? Maac3 is asking for our own opinions (he/she's already researched the matter and done some analysis). Surely, that's not such an unreasonable request at a Q&A message board. Doesn't this community exist for the very purpose of helping people?
AndyH Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Forms, remember what Dave Baker said about that veba section?
Lori Friedman Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Maac3, Right now, there's a helpful discussion about this same issue at the "Distributions and Loans from Ret Plans" forum. I'd give you a link to the ongoing discussion, but I'm just not that computer savvy. Sorry! Lori Friedman
Lori Friedman Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 A message to He Who Has Fins, How have you been lately? Lori Friedman
david rigby Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 This is the discussion mentioned by Lori. http://benefitslink.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=27766 I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
Blinky the 3-eyed Fish Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 I have fins. "What's in the big salad?" "Big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes like volleyballs."
Kirk Maldonado Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Please no more information about what Blinky has. I've not eaten yet! Kirk Maldonado
