reducing involuntary cash out - pros & cons

Recommended Posts

Posted

I'd like to get some opinions on the pros and cons of reducing the involuntary cash out to $1,000. I've pulled the analysis that was posted by mintz.com and am anxious to get some other opinions. I have several clients that would like me to provide a listing of pros and cons.

Thanks!

Maybe you could begin the list of pros and cons and put it out there for others to comment on, rather than asking others to do your work.

Why do some people find it necessary to be so rude? Maac3 is asking for our own opinions (he/she's already researched the matter and done some analysis). Surely, that's not such an unreasonable request at a Q&A message board. Doesn't this community exist for the very purpose of helping people?

Maac3, Right now, there's a helpful discussion about this same issue at the "Distributions and Loans from Ret Plans" forum. I'd give you a link to the ongoing discussion, but I'm just not that computer savvy. Sorry!
