Guest ChopperPilot Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Amounts that are "deemed 125 compensation" are not included in the definition of compensation. What is "deemed" referring to? Speaking / writing about 125 compensation, if a sponsor elects "W-2 Wages" to define compensation, are Section 125 contribution amounts included or excluded for determining employee deferral and employer matching allocations?
QDROphile Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Look at Rev. Rul. 2002-27. I think there is some other IRS guidnace that is related.
stevena Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 when a doc says "W-2 wages", (in all our adoption agreements that we work with at least), right below that compensation question is another question which gives guidance about what to add or not add to those W-2 wages.
