Guest poberlander Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Where can I find an IRS code section or ruling that discusses what does and does not qualify as a plan expense that can be paid for out of plan assets, such as the forfeiture account? Do expenses related to participant education, specifically the hard-dollar fee charged by the education advisor, qualify?
david rigby Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 DOL: http://www.dol.gov/ebsa/ Search for the term "settlor expense" I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
