austin3515 Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Participant terminates in 2002 and is rehired in 2004. Participant has been reported as a B (simply to revise the balance information) for the last couple of years. In 2004 would you report her as D? Or simply leave her off the SSA? Or something else altogether? Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA
pmacduff Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Austin - I would report her as a "D". I assume per the Plan that upon rehire she is no longer entitled to distribution until such time as she "reterms", retires, dies, etc. and if so, "D" is the most logical. hope this helps.
austin3515 Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 I think that makes the most sense as well. That makes 2x I got the same answer AND the same explanation. On top of it, it makes sense to me! THANKS!! Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA
