austin3515 Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Does anyone know how much a Relius Administration license costs per user (defined contribution)? Also, I'm wondering if other firms experience limitations on access to Relius, as employees. For example, we have a schedule, where we can only be on the system (without "squatting") at 3 intervals of 80 minutes. I'm trying to talk my boss into more licenses, so I'm curious to see if we're behind others or equivalent to others (I hope we're not ahead!). Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA
Guest bostonborn Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Yikes...how do you function??? We have enough licences for all of us, but just hired one more admin person and it throws us all off...now I see constant emails from the one stranded coworker, whoever that unlucky person winds up being, asking anyone to please get off Relius if they are not using it, so they can get on. We are going to have to pick up another licence for sure, it is wreaking havoc. I cant imagine how you get through busy season having only 3 80 minute intervals. We are working 7am until 10pm and all of us are on the system that whole time!
austin3515 Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 Thanks Bos - I try to explain the inefficiencies created, to no avail. Any other users out there? Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA
Stevo-PDX Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I can't imagine not having a Relius license for each full time employee who uses Relius for most of the day: daily traders, distributions & administrators. We couldn't survive without all having licenses. The occasional users have to use it early in the morning, during lunch or in the evening. The licenses are not cheap and they come with monthly maintenance, but if your needs are great, they are probably worth the added cost. Steve
mschwechter Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 We are short a couple of licenses, but we have like 13 to start with. We are all working hard, but only occassionally run into problems. Not everyone works or needs relius for all the time they are in the office, they are just squatters who are too lazy to log out and back in. I had a problem one day when we ran out of licenses, and 5 we active to employees who were out to lunch. So cant really see buying another. Would be nic though, if relius would come up with soem sort of special licensing fee for partial years to help us out during busy period.
austin3515 Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 We're a typical TPA firm, no daily trading. We do almost all of our work on a plan year-end. I'd REALLY love to know the actual price - anyone know? Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA
