Guest PeterGulia Posted June 17, 1999 Posted June 17, 1999 Does anyone have suggestions of a trust company that is available to serve as directed trustee of a Roth-IRA that will invest in all of the original stock of a company founded by the Roth-IRA participant. The participant is prepared to deliver a law firm opinion that there is no prohibited transaction. The participant is willing to give the trust company any reasonable protection from liability for acting on the participant's instruction. ------------------
Guest PeterGulia Posted June 19, 1999 Posted June 19, 1999 Thank you for your suggestion. ------------------
Guest PeterGulia Posted June 21, 1999 Posted June 21, 1999 Thanks for the further choice. ------------------
Guest dkb1955 Posted July 18, 2000 Posted July 18, 2000 I would be interested in having a copy of the opinion letter. It's nice to know others are out there in the same boat of enhancing returns in Roth IRA's by investing in non publicly traded securities. We have been using Entrust Administration, Inc as the custodian for such types of transactions.
