MSN Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 If a plan allows deferrals on post sererance compensation, does the sponsor have to match those deferrals in cases where there are no allocation conditions on the match? From my interpretation of our 415 amendment, this would appear to be the case but it doesn't feel right.
401_4_ever Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 You answered your own question, it would depend on the terms of your plan document. We wouldn't be able to answer it.
david rigby Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 ... assuming your "415 amendment" complies with the 415 regulations. I'm a retirement actuary.
