Blinky the 3-eyed Fish Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Has anyone looked into who can sign the 5330 as a paid preparer? Is it limited to those that can practice before the IRS or can anyone sign? I can't find anything to show it's limited to the former. "What's in the big salad?" masteff Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 I'm gonna go w/ anyone. The language on form 5330 and its instructions are substantially similar to those used for forms 1040 and 1120, which are definitely anyone who is not an employee of the taxpayer and is paid for the service. Definitely nothing to make me think it's restricted. Kurt Vonnegut: 'To be is to do'-Socrates 'To do is to be'-Jean-Paul Sartre 'Do be do be do'-Frank Sinatra
