Guest MAC Posted February 21, 1999 Posted February 21, 1999 Are there any 401k service providers that provide access to the Vanguard Family of funds for small businesses (50 employees)
LCARUSI Posted February 23, 1999 Posted February 23, 1999 I believe Vanguard offers an investment and recordkeeping package for small businesses. So maybe the Company can deal directly with Vanguard.
Fredman Posted February 24, 1999 Posted February 24, 1999 You should be able to find a local bank that's willing to use Vanguard funds. I know that banks in my area are willing to use different fund families and also offer recordkeeping services, local service, trustee services, etc...
Guest David Danziger Posted February 25, 1999 Posted February 25, 1999 I hope this response doen't violate this site's limit on commercial messages. However, my firm provides design and tpa services for small employers. We do not sell investments. That leaves our clients free to invest wherever they wish. We have a number of clients (participant counts from 5 to 50) who have selected Vanguard as their fund family. If desired, we can set up a separate account for each participant. Each can then direct the investment of their account among (1) any fund in the Vanguard family (2) any fund available through Vanguard's fund network, and (3) any publicly traded security available through a Vanguard Brokerage account. (There are limits on account balances of less than $1,000). If you'd like more information about our firm, you may want to check out our Web site: www.mand.com. ------------------
Guest ypartridge Posted February 27, 1999 Posted February 27, 1999 I think that there are many small TPA firms like yours (and mine). We leave it up to the client as to where they would like their money to be invested, be it Vanguard or any other mutual fund company or brokerage firm.
