Jim Chad Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Putting 1096's on paper with red ink, is not a big bother, but it would be easier to print them on white paper using all black ink. I have heard of people that have never bothered getting the paper with the red ink and never had a problem. Can anyone tell me anything about this? Is the paper with red ink, required or preferred or...?
WDIK Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Refer to Section 1.3 of IRS Publication 1179. http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p1179.pdf ...but then again, What Do I Know?
Jim Chad Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 Thanks, WDIK. That is the answer I was looking for.
