Guest Guy Incognito Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 A very large client was recently told by ADP that ADP is not able to handle Roth 401(k) contributions. Can anyone confirm that this is true? We find it hard to believe. Thanks.
QDROphile Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I can confirm that ADP is incompetent or worse, so pick which version of incompetence you want: (1) inability to handle Roth contributions, (2) incorrect information about purported ability to handle Roth contributions.
Guest jims Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Even though ADP is a big national firm, they seem to operate more as franchises with some more capable and some not. I suggest you seek out other ADP offices that that have cracked this nut and pursue that knowledge.
oriecat Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Do you mean from a payroll side or an administrator side? I asked some people on a payroll forum I belong to and people there said it can be done for the payroll side, but it can sometimes mean some special programming, in regards to matches and priority of the deductions.
