pmacduff Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 depends on the age of the participant but should be a "1" if under 59 and 1/2 years old. The 2 is used only when the distribution is not subject to the 10% early distriibution penalty. I believe that it might be used, for example, for a disability distribution.
